Fujifilm HS10: The World’s First Pro-sumer Digital Camera with 30X Optical Zoom.

The new Fujifilm HS10 offers a large variety of features and adjustment options in what can only be called a basic point-and-shoot camera. For instance, it comes with a large variety of modes. One can choose to use a fully automatic mode, semi-automatic mode, or a programmed mode where the aperture and shutter are adjusted automatically or fully manual where the user can customize all the settings like a DSLR camera. One can also choose from multiple scene modes present, such as portrait, portrait enhancer landscape more, sport for shooting fast moving objects, night mode which basically bumps up the ISO, night tripod which reduces the shutter speed, fireworks, sunset which makes colors more vivid, snow, beach, party, flower which also makes colors more vivid, text, natural and flash mode, and natural light. The HS10 offers two empty slots on the mode dial for scenes, so one can select a scene for each of them and quickly switch between them.

There is an advanced mode present in the camera, which gives the use a choice of three options. In each of the three modes, the camera takes multiple shots with different settings and then combines them to achieve various results. The first mode is pro low-light mode, the second is multi motion capture mode and the last one is motion remover mode. The first mode allows the user to achieve blur-free shots even in low light, the second one takes multi exposure shots of moving objects. The third mode removes most moving objects in a shot, such as moving cars on the road, while probably taking a picture of a building in the background.

The Fujifilm HS10 also comes with a panorama mode, all you need to do is press shutter button and move the camera horizontally or vertically, and the camera will automatically stitch the clicked pictures them together to form one long picture. The HS10 is also capable of recording videos at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a frame rate of 30 fps.
