Sony Upgrades its Cybershot Line of Cameras
It is that time of the year again, when the world leader in home electronics Sony has decided to expand and refresh their Cybershot line of digital cameras. They recently revealed their new 14.1 megapixel T99 and 12.2 megapixel WX5 and TX9 cameras which come in an all aluminum design a refreshing vibrant colors. All three models feature the BIONZ processor which is found in their ALPHA series of DSLR cameras and have 32MB internal memory. Of late Sony has done away with the proprietary memory stick slot and these cameras can now support SD cards as well. The First Transfer Jet Chips by Sony
Transfer Jet is a close proximity wireless data transfer technology that has been launched by Sony. It enables a fast transfer of data between two devices by just being in close proximity to each other. The Transfer Jet’s transmission rate is 560Mb/s with an effective transmission rate of 375Mb/s. Transfer Jet allows transfer of data and files between two objects by directly touching the electronic products with each other. It does not require even an access point. For example, just by touching a TV with a digital camera, it will enable the pictures to be immediately displayed on the TV screen.
