Positives Overall picture quality is awesome and very DSLR like. The optical image stabilization is spot on and super effective on all but the longest of zooms.The LEICA lens is top notch with absolutely no chromatic or spherical aberration. The colors are natural and there is no exaggeration of any hue. Good contrast and sharpness. Video is as good as it can be.
Negatives Noise removal at medium to high ISO's is not very good. The screen is static unlike other cameras of a similar price. Manual focusing system is usable but not very intuitive.
Overall Highly and vociferously recommended to any amateurs and hobbyists looking for a much cheaper alternative to a DSLR (unless a lot of photography above ISO 800 is planned).
