Acer Aspire One 532h - One for the frequent traveller 

The Acer Aspire One 532h laptop supports a human body curve design with sleek and stylish looks. It is an ultraportable laptop less than 1 inch thick and weighs just 1.25 Kilograms.

It has a 10.1 Inch LED display with Acer Primalite technology, 640 x 480 pixels screen resolution and an integrated webcam that makes chatting easy. The palm rest has a metallic black finish and the trackpad supports a blue coat.

On the Top left corner you find the Power button and the LED indicators are placed on the left side of the trackpad. The blue lit buttons make the laptop look even better.

The Keypad layout is spacious with a floating design and but we are not satisfied with it as we often ended up pressing the wrong keys. The keys give good feedback and are soft to touch. The netbook looks good with the diamond black lid and the hinges are very smooth.

The battery also matches the body and the LCD screen has a 120 degrees viewing angel.
On the left hand side you find a VGA, two USB ports and on the right hand side an Ethernet, one USB, one headphone, Kensington-security slot and microphone is provided. The Aspire One 532h supports a multi-in-1 memory card reader and has features like online video calls, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi capability and Bluetooth. It also supports 3G Data Transfer. It has good value for money features.

Performance

Across synthetic benchmarks and real-world benchmarks it had a modest score. The CPU scores, webcam image quality were also average. We were surprised with the speaker audio clarity and volume. The battery performance was still a disappointment with just 1hour and 45 minutes. Compared with MSI laptops it was pretty average.

Conclusion

The Acer Aspire One 532h is meant for the road warriors and supports the basic features. The optional 3G connectivity and the affordable price of Rs. 19,499 make it a value for money notebook.
