The TravelMate 6292 series targets business users. It has an integrated Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint reader for additional security and reliability. It is a low price notebook pc powered with a range of essential features like wireless connectivity, video conferencing capabilities, Acer Empowering Technology for maximum efficiency and productivity.

The Acer uses an Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 which runs at 2GHz, and this is backed by 2GB of memory (running at 667 MHz), a 160GB hard drive and a DVD Super Multi drive.

Review Details

Acer Travelmate is meant for corporate executives or businessmen. This Acer Laptop supports an Industrial grade finish, a magnesium / aluminum alloy lid making it lightweight and durable notebook. It supports a 12.1-inch screen  with a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo T7300 processor and 2 GB of RAM. Acer has not provided a software bundle but just the essentials, like an office suite and firewall program. It supports a nice keypad which is comfortable to use. The Keys have good feedback though are placed very close together. 


The Acer TravelMate 6292 is not as expensive as other Business class notebooks. It has a bulky body compared with the 12.1 inch screen. The design is also not very sleek like other business laptops.

Positive 1- It is Ultra light,it Just weighs 2 kg 2- File Compression time is very less Just 82 sec..its very fast 3- Excellent looks...
Negative 1- Operating systems was not pre-loaded 2- Battery Back - up time is less 3 - Warranty is just 1 Year...
Overall Highly recommended for People who travel frequently.Its quite fast and good looking....
