The Asus K52F-SX060D is a Core i3 laptops and offer great performance. It supports the Hyper Threading which is a four-way multi task processing. Hyper threading allows Core i3 processors to run two processing threads simultaneously on each core.
 
This Asus laptop has a glossy black finish while the palm rest, mouse pad support a dark brown textured deign. The K52F supports palm proof technology that can tell the difference between finger inputs and palm rests on the mouse pad. The chiclet keyboard may seem too wide but gives a smooth typing experience.

The K52F is also equipped on the right hand side with a DVD drive, USB port, card reader, LAN port and power connector. All the audio jacks, USB, HDMI and VGA ports are on the left hand edge. It supports a 15.6 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. Other features included are a 3 GB RAM and 320 GB HDD. You still have to put out extra money for an OS.

Windows 7 OS was used for all the tests. It took 48 seconds for a 1 GB sequential file transfer and 55 seconds for a 1 GB assorted one in the real life tests. While converting a 100MB .vob file to divx took about 60 seconds. At Rs. 36,745 this is competitively priced product.
