The new Compaq Presario CQ40-327TU is a mid range laptop with a 14.1-inch display laptop powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6400, Mobile Intel GL40 Express Chipset Mainboard and 8X SuperMulti Drive Double Layer (8.5 GB) DVD Writer. 

It is a light-weight laptop with a mere 2.31kg weight including the standard 6-cell Li-Ion battery.It runs the Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit operating system and has integrated Altec-Lansing speakers and webcam.
