The Dell Latitude E5500 is for the business user who needs a portable machine and still offers strong performance, ergonomics, and screen size. The LCD back is a smooth black matte aluminum with a classy understated chrome Dell logo off to the side.

The Latitude E5500 offers a gigabit ethernet port as well as wireless LAN with the options of either an in-house module from Dell or from Intel as communication modules. It also features a built in Bluetooth module (standard 2.1). The Dell Latitude E5500 is a low priced classic office device, primarily for basic office applications.
