HCL Laptop Z24- Z2402 is powered with Intel Core TM 2 Duo T5250 1.50 GHz, Front Side Bus 667 MHz, L2 Cache 2MB. It has Intel GM965 Chipset, 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM. Upgradeable up to 2 GB, 160 GB Serial ATA HDD and DVD Super Multi with support for DVD RAM.
HCL Laptop Z24- Z2402 has Video Mobile Intel graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) x3100 Inbuilt in GM965 chipset. It has a 14.1" Wide Screen WXGA Wide TFT-LCD, 1280x800 WXGA. Screen Resolution.    
It has inbuilt 2 stereo speaker system 1.5 Watts each, RJ-45 LAN Port 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Controller x 1 RJ-11 Modem Port x 1, PCMCIA Cardbus x 1 and Bluetooth standard Ver. 2.0+EDR.
HCL Laptop Z24- Z2402 has an inbuilt 1.3M Web camera, Integrated Microphone for chatting and Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic Edition Operating System.

Review Details

This is HCL’s first good notebook solution that we reviewed. A 14.1-inch laptop is so much better than a 15.4 inch, especially, when you need to heft it around, and when HCL designs their notebooks to be heavy duty.

 

The Z24 C2D is good value for money. It’s reasonably powerful, reasonably compact, and reasonably functional. For the value conscious home user who wants some mobility, this is a good option.
