Being budget-minded does not come at the cost of features. The Probook range of notebooks by HP are absolutely the right fit for a recession hit market. The series offers good value for money, a solid hardware configuration while offering a choice in colors too.

Display
The Probook 4410 has a 14.1 inch LED backlit, widescreen display offering a maximum resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The overall quality of the visuals is good and offer vibrant colors. The display is handled by an onboard Intel 4500MHD display chipset. The graphic card can be tuned to us up to 512 MB of system RAM depending upon your usage.

Hardware
The Probook 4410 features an Intel Centrino powered Core2 Duo processor running at 2.10 GHz along with 3GB of DDR2 RAM. For storage this notebook has a 320 GB HDD, which is enough to handle your daily use documents music and video presentations.

Keyboard and Mouse
This notebook features a keyboard with cut-out keys. The keys are spacious and the feedback is just appropriate which makes typing easy and comfortable. The touchpad is very responsive and sensitive, although the keys sometimes feel awkward to use.

Sound
The set of stereo speakers have enough power to play loud but they completely miss out on bass. Headphones are highly recommended.

Battery Backup
It comes with a standard 6 cell battery, so in the beginning we were not very optimistic about the backup but in our battery drain test it showed some really good results. It gave a backup of 2 hrs and 37 minutes under the recommended settings and 1 hour and 58 minutes under high performance mode.

Performance
This notebook as expected did good in most of the benchmarks except the 3D benchmark, which was obvious in the absence of discreet graphics. It scored a total of 4315 marks in PC mark 05 and 1204 marks in 3D mark 05. While interpreting the results I would say that this notebook is good for overall computing but when it comes to graphics this notebook is a mediocre performer because of the onboard graphics.

Conclusion
The HP Probook notebook with its good hardware configuration and a price tag of 40k approximately comes out to be a good choice for budget minded business users, but still it has some flaws like poor quality speakers and this notebook is not meant to be upgraded by user and that is the reason why HP decided to make a one piece back which needs to be removed when installing more RAM or even removing the optical drive.
