The Sony Vaio VGN-FZ27G Notebook PC is powered by 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7500 with 4-MB L2 Cache, 800 MHz FSB, with Mobile Intel 965GML Express Chipset, 1024-MB DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM (maximum 2-GB), 200-GB Serial-ATA 5400 rpm Hard drive and 8X Super Multi Double Layer (8.5 GB) DVD Writer.
It has 15.4-inch (39.1 cm) WXGA widescreen TFT colour display which is capable of maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels in 16.7 million colors powered by NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics chipset with upto 512 MB shared memory.
The Sony Vaio VGN-FZ27G notebook PC features integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG IEEE 802.11 a/b/g Network Connection, integrated Bluetooth v2.0+EDR , integrated 10/100 ethernet network LAN connection and integrated V.92 and V.90 compliant Modem/Fax card.
It has a 7-in-1 Media Card Reader, integrated Fingerprint recognition, Intel High Definition Audio with 3D audio (Direct Sound 3D support) and it comes with built-in stereo speakers,  inbuild 1.3 Megapixel webcam with integrated Monaural Microphone.
