Sony Vaio VGN-SZ79GN/C is powered with Intel  Centrino  Processor Technology, It has a Intel  Core  2 Duo Processor T9300(2.50 GHz) and Intel GM965 Express Chipset. It also features 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, 250GB(Serial ATA, 5400rpm) Hard Disk Drive and DVD?RW/-+  R DL/RAM Optical Drive.

Sony Vaio VGN-SZ79GN/C also has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 (STAMINA MODE) with Dedicated Video Memory 64MB (SPEED MODE).
It also has a Type 13.3" Wide (WXGA: 1280 x 800) TFT Colour display (Clear Bright LCD: White LED).
