LG Launches Ultra-Slim X300

LG Electronics has announced the launch of the LG X300, an ultra-thin PC. Demoed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this year, this new LG computing device is expected to be available in Asia starting in March.

The X300 is 17.5mm thick and weighs only 970 grams, making it extremely portable. It has an 11.6 inch wide LCD screen and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. Powered by a 2 GHz Intel processor, the LG X300 ships with up to 2GB RAM and 128GB SSD. In addition, it has multimedia features including a 1.3 megapixel webcam and SRS TruSurround HD Sound. The LG X300 comes with an embedded 3G modem chipset which will let users get online easily. The battery life of this laptop is expected to last up to seven hours.

The X300 is available in shiny white and light brown. The price will be announced separately in each market.
