Panasonic has launched its range of Toughbooks in India, meant mainly for the enterprise segment. Rugged, the notebooks are resistant to a variety of environmental hazards, and are also known as Field Mobile PCs by the company. Panasonic says the Toughbooks will give workers on the move a reliable and secure way to access their data and applications, even in the most challenging of environments.
There are two lines of Field Mobile PCs or Toughbooks by the company – Full-Rugged and Semi-Rugged. While introducing the range in India, Panasonic showed off one particular Toughbook as an example – the semi-rugged Toughbook CF-53, which has been priced at less than Rs. 1,00,000, and comes with a three-year warranty.
