Alienware – Soon available in India

Dell has announced the launch of Alienware notebooks in India, though an official launch date is still under wraps. Alienware, since its inception in 1996, has been a cult gaming and high performance computing brand.  The company was bought over by Dell in 2006.

Dell has also not declared the model and configurations would be launched. The latest worldwide launch of the brand has been the 17-inch M17x notebook with dual Nvidia 8800GTX in SLi for graphics and 4GB RAM upgradable up to 8GB.  This is the first Alienware notebook to feature a 2000p display with hybrid graphics that allow the notebook to shift to lower power consuming onboard graphics from discreet SLi graphics to maximize battery performance.

Alienware also makes high performance desktops and gaming accessories under its brand, hopefully they would make it to the Indian market too.
