DELL Adamo lost to its market rival, MacBook Air

The much hyped, luxury segment DELL laptop, 'Adamo' didn't turn out as per the market buzz and hoopla. In spite of having an elegant look and suave style, this model lost to its market rival MacBook Air. Priced at Rs 1,20,000 and weighing 1.8 kg, Dell Adamo comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV at 1.2 GHz, 2GB of 800 MHz DDR3 memory, a 128 GB SSD and Windows Vista home premium 64-bit.

In spite of being in the category of luxury laptops, it fails to meet the mark on few aspects where Apple's MacBook Air scores over, clearly. The Apple's ultraportable comes with more powerful 1.6 GHz & 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo from Intel and more capable NIVIDIA chipset, weighing even a pound less than the DELL's Adamo model.
