NVIDIA ION Graphics and Lenovo come together to provide Advanced Capabilities

The Lenovo's recent introduction to the small laptop market is 'IdeaPad S12' which comes with the NVIDIA ION Graphics processors. Expected to hit the Indian market later this summer, this low cost, energy efficient laptop offers improved application support with rich multimedia options, sleek design, full size keyboard and long battery life bundled with a 12 inch screen.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 has the graphics horsepower to support high definition media and a suite of PC games, rarely supported by low cost PCs. The NVIDIA ION, is reportedly the latest technology introduction to the small PC industry. The NVIDIA ION graphics support:

  • All versions of Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7
  • Outstanding HD video including 1080p and Blu-ray movies
  • Stunning HD video through an external monitor via HDMI
  • Popular games including Spore and Battlefield Heroes
  • DirectX 10 graphics with advanced digital display connectivity
  • Accelerated video enhancement and conversion using NVIDIA® CUDA™ technology

Known, to deliver 10 times faster graphics performance than ordinary small laptops, the market already has lots of expectations from it.
