Lenovo had more in store at CES 2012, unveiling new laptops in the IdeaPad Y and Z, as well as its G series of budget laptops, with eight new models. The Y and Z series will be available from April, starting at $899 and $599 respectively, while the G series will be available from June, starting at $399.
The two new Lenovo IdeaPad 14-inch Y480 and 15-inch Y580 models are home entertainment laptops, powered by the Intel Core Processor family, and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX660M 2GB GDDR5 graphics. Entertainment features include Dolby Home Theatre V4 enhanced audio, JBL designed speakers and OneKey Theater II. Other features include a backlit keyboard, integrated HD camera with night view, optional TV tuner card, and Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) Technology.

The new Lenovo IdeaPad Z580, Z480, Z380 laptops aim to strike the balance between value and performance, and comes with such smart features as Intelligent Touchpad, Lenovo OneKey Rescue System, and OneKey Theater II. Powered by Intel Core Processor family, the three laptops can come with up to NVIDIA GeForce GT640M 2GB graphics. They are available in models with 13.3, 14, or 15.6 inch backlit LED HD displays, all with 1366x768 pixel resolution. Other features include integrated DVD reader or Blu-ray Disc drive and HD graphics support, HDMI output and Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) Technology. Lastly, we come to the Lenovo G480, G580, G780 budget laptops, available in 14 inch, 15.6 inch and 17.3 models. Features include OneKey Rescue System, Veriface facial recognition.
