Nokia net books to feature newer processors

As you would be aware Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia earlier this year decided to enter the Notebook market but it was not too sure about the type of processor that would be at the core its Net book / Notebook.

Well, according to the latest market buzz, Nokia is going for ARM processor centric net books. The basic reason that is enough to justify the use of ARM processor in place of Intel Atom is that Atom, no matter how much it tries, can never match the Ultra Low Voltage requirements of an ARM processor and as a matter of fact Intel is also very much aware of this.

So whatever Nokia is contemplating it should act fast. As per the rumours floating around the notebook market, Nokia is already showing interest for Atom Moorestown MID platform or its ultra-low power Medfield or ARM Snapdragon. Whatever it might be Nokia should do something unique to stand out and do it fast or else it will be one of the many competitors already flooding the Net book Market.
