After the launch of the Nvidia Ion chipset based Idea Pad S12 net book, Lenovo has announced its plans to launch the same net book with Via’s new Nano processor.  As per Lenovo’s announcement, the Via Nano processor will be coupled with an onboard Chrome9 GPU making it the second net book to handle full HD content playback and have better graphics capabilities as compared to Intel chipset based net books. Android makes way to Net books soon
Android, arguably the most talked about mobile OS in the past year, will soon be seen on net books. ANDROID is the new Linux based operating system developed by Google as part of the Open Handset Alliance, which is a consortium of over 30 technology and telecom companies. Android already includes a web browser based on WebKit, the same engine used to run Safari and Google Chrome. Asus ........

Nokia net books to feature newer processors
As you would be aware Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia earlier this year decided to enter the Notebook market but it was not too sure about the type of processor that would be at the core its Net book / Notebook. Well, according to the latest market buzz, Nokia is going for ARM processor centric net books. The basic reason that is enough to justify the use of ARM processor in place of Intel Atom is that Atom, no matter how much it tries, can never match the Ultra Low Voltage requirements of an ARM processor and as a matter of fact Intel is also very much aware of this. So whatever Nokia is contemplating it should act fast. As per the rumours floating around the notebook market, Nokia is already showing interest for Atom Moorestown MID platform or its ultra-low power Medfield or ARM Snap ........
