Question : I had purchased two laptops from DELL.com through online having service tag no.40DX7N1 and 6FQF8N1.I had tried using the Bluetooth,but it was not working in one laptop having service tag no.When I took the laptop to dell service centre they found that the bluetooth device itself is not present inside the laptop.When I tried to contact the customer care the told they cant help me out in this regard and they didnt also respond properly..Can any body help out in this regard..

Answer : Dear Consumer,
It is quite strange that you have come across such a situation. Such a deficiency in the products is quite strange and unfortunate. It is very common that features of the product are mentioned in the products manual and at times at the cartons. You can also find product detail online. Please collect all the material which can show that Bluetooth device was part of the product you had purchased. You should immediately raise this issue with the company in writing or through mails. If they do not respond with in a reasonable time, then you can take legal action by complaining in the consumer forum. It is likely that company would do honest efforts to resolve the issues at the time issuance of notice itself.
