Question : Sir,
I have booked a HP laptop G 42 series 355TU on 3rd of November 2010 with Diwali offer . the shop Commercial computers at Dibiyapur Auraiya UP promised me to deliver the laptop within a few days. But he delivered me the Laptop on 14th november 2010. now he says he cannot give the gift voucher of HP of Rs.2000 as the laptop was billed to him on 13th november while the offer date lasted till 12 th of november. Now I cannot get a gift voucher with no fault of mine .

Answer : Dear Consumer,
You should immediately address a written communication to the shop concerned and the company of your product, expressly asking them to give a written response on the issue. The delay caused is not on your part but on the dealer and Company. In no circumstances you can be deprived of the benefit you are entitled to. However at this stage just write to them and tell them if they are not going to address your problems for the delay in time bound schedule then you will be constraint to take legal action. I hope some sense will prevail over them and they will resolve the issues.
