Question : i had purchase compaq620 core2duo on 3rd of november2010, the dealer not provide me operating system software with laptop at present i am facing the problem of keypad is not functning properly, i also request the dealer on purchase time to provide me seal packed laptop, he sold me updated(software loaded or say as demo laptop to me) please suggest me what i will do ?

Answer : Dear Consumer,
Thanks for sharing your inputs and suggestions regarding the product and service which would be beneficial and guiding for the prospective customers. This is nothing but fraud played upon consumer. The company in no circumstances can promise or represent something and deliver something else. You must make a consumer complaint against the company in the district forum. At this stage, send them a legal demand notice and ask for an explanation for incomplete product. But you must explain your complaint carefully. I hope some sense will prevail over them and they will sort out your problems. You should send the letter or notice vide registered mode and keep record of all communications for the future reference.

i have been waiting months for a new laptop charger which they have promised to send me as i obviously cant use my laptop, ive spent a fortune on phone calls chasing them but all you get is a loads of lies, warning to anyone wanting to buy a laptop avoid compaq the after care STINKS.
