Question : i am facing a very serious problem in my Laptop (model #...cq42-451tu..) of white spots on screen (just like color fading) which i purchased on .27 Apr-2011... Dealer name.... PC COMMUNICATION Invoice #. PCC/11-12/0177....., i went to HP authorized service center they totally refused saying that it is not covered under service warranty and i am not satisfied using a laptop of such a big brand in a defective condition, and even i feel ashamed using that laptop in my office. so i request you to look forward to this matter.

Answer : Dear Consumer,
Please read your warranty documents carefully and check out as to whether the display is covered under the warranty or not. If it is covered then you are entitled to warranty benefits. Even if the warranty documents are silent on this aspect then it should be read in your favour. If you are not satisfied with the services or the product then you must file a consumer complaint. The display is an important aspect of any laptop and any defect therein makes it meaningless. I would suggest you that at this stage you can write them a registered letter containing all issues in detail. In case, they do not come up with a solution then you may go ahead with complaint in the district forum. I hope some sense will prevail over them at the stage of notice itself and they will sort out things. Please keep proper record of all the relevant documents which would be crucial to establish your claim in consumer forum. You can file a consumer complaint in district forum.
