Samsung Launches 8000 series LED television

4 Aug 2009: Samsung India today expanded the LED television line-up with the addition of 8000 series LED television. With this addition Samsung now has 3 series for LED’s TV’s with televisions ranging from 32” to 55” priced between Rs.69,900 to Rs.300,000. The 8000 series is first LED TV series from Samsung to have 200 Hz motion, thus resulting in sharper pictures and smooth motion. Another advantage of the Samsung LED TV is that it is just about an inch thick at the slimmest point, and unlike Sony Bravia ZX series the TV tuner is built into the TV.

Taking a little step towards green, these LED TV’s are lead and mercury free and the power consumption is almost 40% less than convention LCD TV’s.
