How 3D Works
3D imaging, also known as stereoscopy, is a technique of creating the illusion of the image depth by presenting two different images, viewed by the left and the right eye individually by the viewer. Originally, these distinct images are 2D images that are combined by the brain to give the perception of 3D depth. Stereoscopy is attained using certain various approaches. The user can view two separate images that are created by 2 different sources, which can be viewed as one single image by wearing glasses.
