Question : I have purchase videocaon LCD 32 " on date 16 cot 2009. After completion of 1-year warranty on 16 cot 2010, from date 21 cot 2010 4-inch white & black band coming on screen bottom side. Technician from videocon saying that I have to change my LCD panel with cast Rest. 19000 . My complaint is I should get free replacement from company. Because such big problem should not came in any device only after few day over warranty period. Any problem cause to pay 2 to 3 thousand rupees is ok but as I trust on Videocon & buying your product you should resolve such big problem. If you have possible to repair it t my home then also I don’t have any problem. But to pay such hung amount only after 1 year is not sustainable. I am regular user of videcon .If I don’t get free replacement I will never buy any Videocon product & also suggest to all my collogues don’t buy any product of videocon.

Thanks for sharing your inputs and suggestions regarding the product and services which would be beneficial and guiding for the prospective customers. Well legally, speaking you have no right to get the things repaired free of cost once it’s out of the warranty period. However, it is unfortunate that you got problems when the warranty period got over. The company should be decent enough to serve their consumers in such a typical situation like yours. That is the reason it is always advisable that before your period gets over you must get the product checked. Please apprise us of the fact that if on any earlier occasion the product was having such problem even during the warranty period.

I purchased Videcon 32 haute in oct-2009, after 1 year it hangs after 2 hour working,not able to change the channel,sound and remote is not working,called the videocon service engineer,he say for parts and other thing we have to pay 5000- to 6000. Not trust in the videcon tv as they are not using proper parts in the tv,only the service engineer told me about this. Really surprise how the big name videocon do the cheap level of business . Requesting all my friends and collegues dont buy videocon TV
