Question : I have purchased a Samsung LCD tv it is in warranty. I registered my complaint on the 23/8/2010 complaint no : s8412300020. .
Every day i call them up they tell me that you will get a call back from the service centre , which never happens.
It’s more than 2 weeks today. And from the last 1 week i call them up every day. Because the call bak never happens.
I am frustrated that Samsung being a multinational company is playing such “ cheap “ tricks.
After waiting for so much time i am finally writing to you guys as a last resort.

Answer : Dear Customer
Thankfully your product is under warranty which provides you a legal right to get the things in right order. You are aware of your rights and raising them at the appropriate stage. Nevertheless, I think you have enough of them .You should immediately shoot a registered letter to the company, service centre and the dealer and in shape of legal demand notice raising your entire grievance. Mention all the previous complaints you have made and nothing has been done. Keep a record of all the communication for the future legal action. I hope some sense will prevail over them and they will rectify the faults well with in time. In case they do not, you can go ahead with the complaint in the consumer forum for which you can always seek our guidance.

My suggestion is do not wait for them to send your call to a center look at your local TV repair shops and find one that is authorize by Samsung because as long as you are in warranty they do not need a call number from Samsung only you purchase recieve. What happens is that Samsung labels the call centers and the ones that do the work for less money get all the calls but they provide really bad customer service.

I agree. Our experience: "We have a 37” Samsung LCD TV purchased in May, 2009. A complaint lodged on 17-Sep-2010 at their customer care number regarding a problem. Their Service Engineer from Faridabad Centre visited us on 18Th Sept. 2010. The defect required replacement of a part for which, an estimate was requested. The service engineer was also paid visiting charges for which a receipt is available. Estimate was delivered to us on 21st Sep and immediate confirmation was given. We were informed that the part would take 4-5 days to procure and the TV would be repaired soon. After that no response to our calls. Finally their Service Centre In charge informed on 27th Sept that repair would not be possible till the Ist of October as currently Samsung’s monthly closing is on and the details of the part cannot be entered. As we were keen to watch CWG 2010 opening ceremony on HD TV we repeatedly followed with Customer Care thru phones & email for an early repair. Finally Service Engineer from their Faridabad Centre called us on 30th evening & said that we are unnecessary complaining & set will now be repaired on 4th Oct as they will get parts on first & 2nd & 3rd Oct are holidays. I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT DEPENDING UPON SAMSUNG IF YOU ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCH AN EVENT."

Never to buy the samsung products, they are really pathetic and dont ever expect after sale service this people they dont even turnup. I was so disappointed by their washing machine, tv, refrigerator that i sold them in six months.
