Samsung with the series of newly launched smartphones with BADA OS installed onto it as their native operating system has managed to dip into the ocean of smartphones.

 
The phone is fairly specked with capable hardware onboard, boasting of a 1 GHz ARM Cortex processor. The phone is strongly build and it feel like a tank – the buttons are of top-notch quality. The phone is really at a premium step with its top quality finish and aimed for the upper mid range category of customers within the market, which is priced around Rs.19, 100. With a 5 MP camera and a screen of 3.3”-inch AMOLED touchscreen which works brilliantly. Some of the touchscreen phones require you to make gestures to accept calls.
 
Call quality is impressive and the speakerphone doesn’t distort. As a phone, it performs flawlessly – something that smartphones with sophisticated platforms normally fail at.

The bundled applications are exciting and are quite useful – the task manager allows you to efficiently switch between running applications and closing them. System Alerts are prominent with the use of high system resources when the many or heavy applications loaded in the background. Using the social networking applications like twitter and facebook, the user can interact using these applications. The Samsung app store is accessible through the phone, so it’s easy to install and uninstall apps. The app store does not have that many applications to provide to the user as compared to the iTunes or even the Android Market. This is duly imminent with the use of the application market that the Samsung app store has very less number of apps.
 
As a Smartphone, the new Samsung Wave is quite efficient but when it comes to its expandability with the use of many applications, it affects the everyday purpose of using such a Smartphone. Though as a device it gives tough competition to iPhone.
