The Sony Ericsson-U100I Yari is a slider phone on a quad-band model. It is a media phone and comes equipped with a host of features. It has a built in secondary camera for video calls.

Other features include a generous 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth functionality and accelerometer. It is equipped with a unique gesture gaming technology gives users a unique gaming experience.  There is a mix of pre loaded motion and standard games. 

The Sony Ericsson-U100I Yari has a powerful 5 MP camera and comes with features like face detaction, image stabiliser and Geo-tagging. It has a built in accelerometer with which you can auto-rotate your pictures. It is a mid range phone targeted towards the young generation.

Review Details

Sony Ericsson's Yari U100i, has brought gesture gaming on the mobile platform. A Secondary calling used for video calling which is placed on the top of the display.


To enhance the gesture gaming facility on the phone, an interface is provided over the phone. However, the overall gaming experience was just satisfactory which leaves us user to desire for more with this aspect of mobile gaming.
 
The phone is designed with all black body with a slider of the same color as the body with a 2.4” inch screen. Yari has the standard Java UI. Using the keypad was really irritating which made us feel annoyed while texting.
 
Yari U100i does tags as a high end camera phone featuring a 5 megapixel camera with many features and has an accelerometer sensor.
 
The audio playback of the phone is quite decent, but do not expect the same Walkman series quality. The UI Styles are very impressive giving the user the option to select skins like the grammophone or like LP cassette player.
 
An interesting feature for the phone which allowed threaded texting call Conversations. Yari U100i integrates social networking in the phone with dedicated applications for Facebook, Youtube and Blogger. The price for the SE U100i is for Rs 16,950 we feel its decently priced as there is no other phone in the market with as many wonderful features.
