The LG GD510 is now available in India for Rs. 7,500. Marketed as the Cookie Pop (Pep in India), this makes touch screen phones more affordable.
 
The GD510 has a 3 inch TFT LCD, resistive touch screen display with a resolution of 240x400 pixels. It comes equipped with a 3.15 megapixel camera capable of video recording. The camera lacks autofocus though.  The GD510 also lacks 3G and WiFi. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth, GPRS and USB support. It also has FM radio, an accelerometer and a full QWERTY keypad in landscape mode.

LG Cookie Pop

The LG GD510 is likely to be popular with the youth as along with the price, social networking applications are a major selling point of the GD510 phone. In addition, the user interface supports widgets.
