Nokia launches 3G touch screen phone for Rs. 8500

Introducing the 5230, a 3G touch screen phone, for just Rs. 8500, Nokia has made itself more popular among those with limited budgets. Also, it has GPS, which makes this phone even more desirable!
 
Having the same form factor as the Nokia 5530 Xpress music phone, the 5230 has a 3.2" resistive touch screen with a resolution of 640x360 pixels. This phone comes with a stylus as touch is the primary input method; however, it has dedicated keys for camera, volume, call and end. It also has a 2MP camera with video support. In addition, it has 70MB internal memory and supports external memory cards of up to 16 GB. It has an enhanced music player and is capable of up to 33 hours of music playback.

Nokia is not yet known for its touch screen phones. Also, the 5230 lacks Wi-Fi, but it is competitively priced and available in a wide range of colors. That will definitely find it a few buyers.
