Question : Hi!! I jst wanted to tell you that I have filed a case in consumer court shalimar bagh against HCL!! I bought an HCL EzeeBee PC in 2005 and extended its warranty with Aforeserve, HCL in 2006 for 2 more years!! My warranty was to end in November 2008!! Bt two weeks before the above date the motherboard in my PC started showing some problems!! I called HCL consumer complaint for about 2 weeks in a row, daily, to do something abt it!! They kept on saying that we'll send someone, hes on his way blah blah blah!! And a day or 2 before the date of the lapse of warranty they said that ur warranty has lapsed and we cant send anyone unless u renew it!! I told them that I filed the complaint when my PC ws in warranty and I will only renew it wen u fix my PC first!! They said they were unable to do anything unless I extended my warranty!! I called their head office at Noida countless times bt without any response from them!! I'll send u the case number and other details as well!! Actually the court isnt helping as well!! They keep on extending dates!! Now the case of hearing is 23rd November 2009!! On the 5th July they(HCL) were supposed to submit a written statement bt they didnt and as a result the date got extended!! I am hoping that u guys cn help me out on this one!! I am a student studying Animation frm Arena Animation, Ashok Vihar!!
