Question : i have bought a Haier C-2076 mobile in August 2010, it had been dead on 06/12/2010, i have sumbited it to the authorised service centre of haier mobile namely BALAJI ENTERPRISE ADD: C-9/36 IIND FLOOR YAMUNA VIHAR DELHI 110053, BUT THEY are not return my mobile, and making me fool by return a old mobile , printed anather set no. so i requested to u to sir kindly help me and take the necessary action on such above stated authorised service centre.

Answer : Dear Consumer,
Please send them a written communication to the company and request for your own handset. You must know that if you will use a different IMEI based handset you may be caught for stealing a phone. Immediately return phone and tell them to give your phone with IMEI for which you have bill otherwise you would be in a great problem. Even thereafter they did not turn up and find solution to your problems in that situation write them a registered letter containing all the details of your consumer complaints. In case, they do not come up with a solution then you may go ahead with complaint in the district forum. I hope some sense will prevail over them at the stage of notice itself and they will sort out the things. And, yes maintain a record of communications which may be necessary in future as evidence. Well understand that it may tough for you to go to consumer forum but sometimes even the filing of complaint is sufficient to move them. Unless you will take some legal action they would not change it or solve the problem in the product. You can also inform the police in case they do not return you the right phone for criminally misappropriating your product.
