Question : Dear Customer care, Spice mobiles,
I had order placed to Homeshop 18 through on line for spice handset (QT55) on 27’Th feb 2011, in Delhi and same delivery of QT-55 received on cash payment from Blue Dart Courier on 06/03/2011. But I had faced so many problems (i.e Hanging/ sudden self switch off) in my handset on 09/03/2011 and given my handset for repairing purpose to your service center at M/S Aim Telecom Service ,office No. -2, 1st Floor, H-11, South Ext., part-1 , New Delhi. on 10’th march 2011 vide Worked order no: – SDL284611300079, IMEI No. 910040823523449. Till date never got my handset repaired neither satisfactory response through telephone or E-Mail ID (vdprkshlohia@gmail.com) from Service Centre . service center Replied me that “sir your handset sent to factory for repairing due to mother board problem and you will get it on this Friday. If company not able to service my handset, kindly provide me New Hand set immtly. I can’t wait for my handset .

Answer : Dear Consumer,
This is a very common problem which consumers are facing dealing with the service centres. These centres keep delaying the delivery of the product on one or the other pretext. They have to return the product duly repaired with in a reasonable time. You write a letter to the service centre and the company demanding timely delivery of the product duly repaired. If they do not come up with any solution then you can file consumer complaints in the district forum. You can file a complaint even if you have got your product back. You can ask for compensation for the late delivery of product which amounts deficiency in the services.
