Question : I purchased videocaon V1425 mobile from S.K. ElECTRONICS,Bikaner (Raj.) on 05-07-2010. But very sorry to say that above mobile functions are not working properly and chargeer point damaged. Phone's ON/OFF switch not worked.Videocon is a very big company,but his mobile is not good. I was went to the authroised service centere, but service center cannot repaire my mobile.Kindly replace my moblile or any.

This is the not first time that the companies are backing out from their tall claims and doing nothing for the customer. Legally speaking, it depends upon the warranty terms on which you purchased the product. It is not clear from the facts mentioned by you as whether are you still enjoying the warranty benefits or not. If the product is out of the warranty period then its entirely your responsibility except where the product was having the same problem since same. Nevertheless, at this stage what we suggest you to write a letter to the company and the dealer from where you purchased the product containing all the relevant details and problems you are facing. I hope they would be sensible enough to respond. Keep a record of the all the communications exchanged. Thereafter if the response is not positive you can file consumer complaints.
