Question :         I the undersigned Dinesh s temkar,most respectfully beg to inform you that my underwarranty mobile handset no. GT-S3353,serial no.RDKB438389V[355977043894492]has dead on 7/2/2012,hence i have approached, your service center no:0003378788,m/s,Mangalmurti Enterprises,Thane-400601,dated 08/02/2012,at the same time i was informed by them as under: "FOUND LIQUID LOGGED ON PBA"and i have spend Rs.2600/-to set this instruments in order.in this matter,i wish to make it clear that knowingly or unknowingly water has not reached to the circuit,i am quite sure that due to burning in short circuit inside solder melted.it is not my mistake,so i respectfully request you get this handset repaired and returned to me immediately underwarranty.                                                                            i hope within a week time you will take instant steps to get duely repaired and handover to me,as otherwise i shall take leagal steps to solve this matter.

Answer : Dear Dinesh,
These are the standard arguments which so called big companies raise when it comes to honour the warranty. They are not going to do anything about it unless you will start taking legal action against them. I would suggest you that at this stage you can write to them a registered letter containing all issues in detail and call upon them to resolve all the issues within a specified time. In case, they do not come up with a solution then you may go ahead with complaint in the district forum. I hope some sense will prevail over them at the stage of notice itself and they will sort out things. Please keep proper record of all the relevant documents which would be crucial to establish your claim in consumer forum. You can file a consumer complaint in district forum.
