Question : I started facing problems with My G-Fone 571 mobile soon after purchase in July 2010. On contacting to the authorized service Centre, they removed minor problems of keypad, but kept pending the LCD screen problem for want of new spare part for replacement of screen. This wait longed for 3-4 months. Now they said that they, no more have the service contract with G-Fone. The seller does not take the responsibility. Now what should I do?

Please send a written communication to the company and request for a repair again and wait for their response. This time keep a record of all the details. In case, they do not come up with a solution then you may go ahead with complaint in the district forum. I hope some sense will prevail over them at the stage of notice itself and they will sort out the things. And, yes maintain a record of communications which may be necessary in future as evidence. Well understand that it may tough for you to go to consumer forum but sometimes even the filing of consumer complaints is sufficient to move them. Unless you will take some legal action they would not change it or solve the problem in the product.
