Question : I bought micromax Q55 mobile on 01 jan 2012 for Rs3990/-

910044908312645 but the mobile is not working properly like drop call,disturbance in the call,gets switched off , and problem in incoming call. I had gone to your service station in Noida at Satgur communication and after checking the mobile they said that the mobile has to be sent to the company for repair and it will take minimum 15 days to be delivered. Now I feel cheated for buying the micromax mobile. Your product did not even function properly for one month also. I have left my mobile with service centre to gets repaired and wants that New set should be provided to me. The mobile is in warranty period. I thought to try the Micromax product but the products are not of standard quality likw Nokia and samsung. Kindly get me the new mobile at the earliest.

Answer : Dear Mr. Maurya,
We can understand your pain and disappointment. This is nothing less than a fraud. There is no reason and justification that a company can give you a defective product. It is good that you are aware of your consumer rights. Before you lodge a complaint, please write a letter to them in shape of a legal demand notice detailing all your problems. Please mention all relevant details of earlier job sheets, if you have any. In case, they do not come up with a solution then you may go ahead with your complaint in the district consumer forum. There is chance that the company would resolve the problem at the stage of notice itself. I hope the company would realize the consumer needs and do the needful to provide proper consumer services so as to maintain its repute in the market. Please keep proper record of all the relevant documents which would be crucial to establish your claim in consumer forum. You can file a consumer complaint in district forum.
