Answer : Dear Consumer,
This is nothing but sheer harassment of consumer at the hand of companies who make big claims for their products and have little reality when it comes to support their consumers. If your product is under warranty, it is company’s duty to repair it to your satisfaction and that is too without charges and in a reasonable time. Any such delay or dissatisfaction in repairing the product would amount to deficiency in services which is actionable under the consumer act as prevailed in India. They should make arrangement for an alternative product during the period of repair if it is going to take such long time. You can write a letter to both the company and the seller and call upon them to rectify all the problems within a specified time. Please keep a record of all the essential documents which would be crucial to establish your case in the consumer forum.
