Question : I have purched one Videocon, model No. VC 1425 from Future Value at Nashik on 24.12.10 and got software problem since bigining and i deposited the mobile for rectification to Alphabetics Business Machine at Nashik on 7 May 11 and till date i have not any confermation of rectification from the above said service station and they even asked me to the repairing charge for the same.
Please be humble and replace the hand set immediately.

Answer : Dear Consumer,
This is height of poor services on the part of the product company. As indicated by the dates, it seems that your product under warranty, therefore there is no question of charging any money for repair. You can write a registered a letter to the company and ask for speedy repair of handset or else replacement of the same. Non replacement and non repair would amount to deficiency in services. In case of failure, you can file consumer complaints with the district forum and ask for the damages. Keep a record of all communication which will be crucial to prove your case in consumer forum. Well, at time it happens that companies come forward and resolve issues at the service of notice itself.
