What's Good
The sharpness levels on the Samsung Galaxy Note's 5.3-in display are quite good, which helps a lot with reading text and so are the colour levels and brightness. The Galaxy Note is extremely powerful and suffers no issues during Web browsing or multi-tasking. Despite the bigger footprint, the Galaxy Note doesn’t weigh too much, and manages to remain quite slim as well.
What's Bad
The Galaxy Note is really a little too big for single-hand use and quite honestly if you have average or smallish hands, it will feel like carrying a diary instead of a phone and that does affect usability quite a bit.
Bottom Line
The Samsung Galaxy Note is a device aimed at the discerning user- someone who knows he doesn’t want a tablet, but wants a bigger smartphone experience. There is no other smartphone that offers the same screen size and that's one of the reasons why the Note is still quite expensive. If you want a smaller screen then consider the Apple iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S3.
