the service center is taking too much time

Question : I brought a Philips Go Gear MIX 2 GB (SA3MXX02K/97) and it refused to get start just after 2 days of purchase! The service centre (06542233112) guys promised to replace the defective in about 2 weeks! but 2 weeks later they are just ignorant about the player saying it'll take 1 or two weeks more... the service center is asking for money despite promising me of repairing the player for free

After that period the player again creates problem & I repaired and service centre charged Rs 225/- They assured next 1-2 time they will repair free of cost if again required. Then again... Your product has been replaced twice which shows that the product has history and capable of being inherently defective. If the product is under warranty then you are not supposed to pay any money for the repairs. You can ask and claim not only for the refund of repair charges... Read more

Answer : Unfortunate to say but it is always the responsibility of Consumer to take an Order Sheet or a Job sheet duly filled up. Since the service center refuses to give the same to you have two options open at your end.
