The Magiq Glide is the latest affordable tablet launched by Beetel. It is a sleek and stylish 3G Tablet with a 7.0 Inches WVGA Capacitive display screen and 800×480 pixels screen resoluton.

 
It supports dual cameras for video calling. It has a 2 mega-pixel rear and front camera with digital zoom and Video Recording. It offers Music Playback, FM Radio with Recording, and an inbuilt Music player with 3.5mm jack.
 
It has an 8GB Internal Memory expandable to 16GB for all your movies, pictures, videos, etc. It supports Android 2.2 OS with a 1GHz Processor. Other features included are Browser, Pre-installed Apps, Google Apps, connectivity options like USB, WAP/GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G.

Review Details

The Beetel Magiq Glide is a definite improvement over its predecessor the Beetel Magiq. 

 
Look & Feel
 
There is no change in the looks of the tablet and has the same outer shell as Beetel Magiq and feels a little bulky. The tablet has a solid metal built and also has an integrated kickstand.
 
Features & Performance
 
It supports a 1GHz single core processor with 512MB of RAM and has the Android 2.2 OS. We were hoping for the Android 2.3 Ver. at least. The performance is a little better than the previous Magiq Tablet and the Apps open quicker and the menu feels smoother. The UI is as brilliant as the previous tablet. It supports multiple home screens that allows easy sorting of widgets and apps. 
 
It supports a 7-inch capacitative touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It has a smooth interface with good response. The video playback quality was good of Magiq but for Glide it is even better. You can even view 720p HD videos with clarity.
 
The Glide’s display is very crisp with clear text and sharp images. The Glide supports 8GB internal storage and a 16 GB Expandable microSD slot. However the 2MP camera is disappointing and video calling depends on good lighting conditions.
 
The battery life of the tab is not as good as Reliance 3G Tab and lasts for about 4 hours under moderate usage even with brightness levels at about 20%.
 
Our Take
 
The increase in price is just for the capacitive touchscreen. The Reliance 3G Tab is a sleeker package but did not do well in our benchmark tests. If you have to choose between the Beetel Magiq Glide, the Reliance 3G Tab or the ViewSonicViewPad 7e we would suggest you choose between the Glide and the Reliance 3G Tab.

Positive 1Ghz processor two cameras with 2 mega pixel is each...
Negative battery backup,android 2.2 froyo,multi touch is not available...
Overall price is really attractive,its gud for the 1st time users....
