LG unveils The Optimus Pad

LG has unveiled its First LTE Tablet- The Optimus Pad. The tablet will support an 8.9 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M color, 768 x 1280 pixels display resolution.

The Tablet will support Micro SD expandable memory up to 32GB. It offers advanced connectivity options like GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and USB. The Optimus Pad LTE will support dual cameras. It will have an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus, video recording and Geo-tagging and a front 2MP Camera for video calling.
 
The Tablet supports Android v3.2 (Honeycomb) OS and has a powerful Qualcomm
Dual-core 1.5 GHz Processor. Other features included are Accelerometer, proximity, compass, Email, Push Email and IM. 
 
The Tablet is expected to hit the stores in the second quarter of 2012, though no word on pricing yet!
